Conference Theme

When WorkFace Planning was introduced as a best practice in 2006 the model was created to primarily focus on the construction phase of a project. Over the past four years the model has evolved and the focus of WFP has expanded to all phases of the project life cycle. We are defining the four project phases as:

• Concept: deciding what to build
• Creation: designing it
• Construction: building it
• Commissioning: ensuring it works

WorkFace Planning has also grown to the point where there are a number of automation tools and services that exist to assist in the implementation of WFP. This year's theme, From Concept to Commissioning, is intended to focus on the practice of WFP and how it has evolved.
